No more excuses!
-"It hurts too much."
I promise you will learn very soon the "hurts too much" is worth it when you start to feel and see the benefits both inside and out.
-"I have diabetes, asthma, bad knees, arthritis, etc..."
Great! Even more reason to get moving and get your life back!
-"I'm not the athletic type."
This isn't grade school dodge ball or tryouts for the varsity team. Human bodies were designed to move and be active, no sports necessary. Not only will activity make your body feel better but so will your mind and spirit.
-"I don't have time." (Most popular excuse...surprise surprise!)
Here's the thing. If you don't have time, make time. Most people find ways to make time for other areas of their life. If you don't make time for your health and fitness, ultimately you will have fewer years to do things you enjoy. Unfortunately, we can't pause time, you aren't getting younger. Exercise improves quality of life in multiple ways and prevents or improves many diseases and movement problems.
-"I'm too old."
There is no such thing as too old for movement and exercise. If you start moving more, you won't feel or look so old!
-"It's too hard."
Be honest with yourself, what good things in life ever come easy?
-"It's too expensive."
Your best investment is in yourself. I have never had a client months or even years down the road say, "man, I wish I wouldn't of spent all that money on working out". Treat your body like a temple. You're only given one.
No two people are the same. Every person reacts differently to workouts and nutrition. You need a set workout plan that is based on your own individual needs. Making workouts takes a lot more thought and effort than you would think. There are so many different ways to workout, it just takes knowledge combined with creativity. That is where my job comes into play. No gimmicky, one size fits all, or cookie cutter workouts, every program I make is unique and tailored to my clients' individual needs and goals.
